What it is
A single-ingredient, whole-food supplement made from organic Australian grass fed and finished beef liver.
Freeze-dried to preserve its natural nutrient profile, then encapsulated in a beef gelatine capsule.
Nothing else.
Why it is different
Most supplements isolate nutrients. Beef liver contains them together, in the ratios they appear in food.
Beef liver naturally contains vitamin B12, folate, vitamin A, iron and copper — nutrients the body typically uses in combination, not in isolation.
Because the nutrients appear together as they do in food, many people find it gentler on digestion and easier to maintain long-term.
This isn't a stimulant or shortcut. It is foundational nutrition.

Nutrient Profile
These nutrients occur naturally within liver, in the ratios found in whole food, to support steady absorption and long-term use.
Vitamin B12 has no established upper limit. it is water soluble and the body only absorbs what it needs. -
Amino-Acid Profile
Essential amino acids are the building blocks the body cannot make on its own.
They play a central role in maintaining muscle tissue, enzymes, hormones, and immune function, helping the body adapt and recover efficiently.

Nutrient Notes
-
Iron
Beef liver provides foundational iron (12% RDI), alongside nutrients that support its use in the body.
A common misconception, it is not designed to increase iron levels or address higher iron needs on its own.
If you want to prioritise iron, our Organic Iron Blend Capsules are designed for that purpose with 100% RDI of Iron per serve.
Different tools for different outcomes. -
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 occurs naturally in beef liver and supports normal energy metabolism, nervous system function, and red blood cell formation.
No upper level of intake has been established, as there is no evidence of harm from vitamin B12 consumed through food or supplements in healthy individuals, and the body naturally limits absorption at higher intakes. -
Folate & MTHFR
Folate is naturally present in beef liver and supports normal DNA synthesis, cell renewal, and methylation processes.
Unlike synthetic folic acid, food-based folate is already in a biologically active form, which may be better suited for individuals with common gene variants such as MTHFR that affect folate conversion and utilisation. -
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is naturally present in beef liver and plays a role in normal vision, skin integrity, and immune system function.
Our Organic Beef Liver contains 44% RDI of Vitamin A per serve. Reflecting a moderate food-based intake rather than high-dose supplementation.
If you are planning, pregnant or breastfeeding you should consider total dietary vitamin A intake and seek professional advice if unsure.
FAQs
Do they taste or smell like liver?
Freeze-drying removes moisture but not all compounds responsible for
flavour and odour. In capsule form, most people don't notice a taste
at all — you're swallowing capsules, not chewing raw liver.
Occasionally, if capsules are taken on an empty stomach, some people notice a mild
aftertaste. Taking with food eliminates this for most (and also increases Vitamin A absorption).
I thought liver was high in iron?
Liver does contain iron — ours has 12% RDI per serve. Its genuine nutritional strengths are B12, vitamin A (retinol), natural folate, and copper.
Many supplement brands position liver as an iron source. We don't, because it's not accurate. If iron is your primary goal, our
Organic Iron Blend — which uses beef spleen as the iron source — is designed for that.
These are different products with different jobs.
Is it safe to take daily?
Yes, at the recommended serving of 6 capsules daily. The nutrients in beef liver are food-form — they behave as they would in a whole-food diet.
The one nutrient worth noting is Vitamin A: our Beef Liver Capsules contain 44% RDI per serve. This is a moderate, food-based intake.
If you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, total dietary Vitamin A intake is worth discussing with your GP, as high-dose Vitamin A supplementation carries risk in pregnancy.
Food-form Vitamin A at moderate levels is a separate consideration — but flagging it is the right thing to do.
It is also a great source of Vitamin B12, with 6x the RDI. There is no upper limit set for B12 so this is considered safe for healthy individuals. As it is water soluble, your body will remove what it doesn't need.
