Somada was born on the beaches of Rye, Victoria — out of a need to simplify and return to our bodies. We believe the best way we can show up for our loved ones is when we’re aligned with our purpose, and when we have the energy and clarity to direct into what matters most.

Remembering what the body knows

We trust our intuition and let it guide us — just as it did for generations before us.

Our ancestors valued the whole animal. Nose to tail. Nothing wasted. In doing so, they honoured both the animal and the body it nourished. Organs like heart and liver were everyday foods, simply prepared — pan-fried with olive oil and herbs, eaten with intention.

Somada takes this wisdom and makes it workable for modern life. We simplify the process, turning it into a daily ritual — one that nourishes with wholefood nutrition the body recognises and trusts.

All of our blends are grounded in evidence-based practice. We research nutrients not in isolation, but in how they interact within the body.

Every Somada product is made in Australia, batch tested for quality, and built using wholefood ingredients only — nothing synthetic, nothing isolated, nothing added that doesn’t need to be there.

Our products are designed for sensitive systems, as a gentle, wholefood alternative to highly processed supplements.

This isn’t about pushing the body harder, but about restoring your energy from within.

Sustainability

Sustainability can be a buzzword. For us, it’s a responsibility.

At Somada, sustainability goes beyond a recycling symbol or a carbon number. We take a holistic view — understanding how every decision affects our people, our communities, and our planet.

It must be embedded into systems and operations, not applied as a surface layer.

We consider our immediate impacts — from product packaging and fulfilment materials, to banking with an Australian B Corp-certified institution. We also look downstream at our suppliers, their sourcing decisions, and the practices behind them.

Sourcing

We only source cattle from pasture-raised farms because soil, water, and animal health and human health are inseparable.

Pasture-raised systems avoid pesticides that can damage waterways and drinking water supplies. Cattle graze naturally on grasslands, helping fertilise soil and support long-term land health.

Healthy soil is an ecosystem in itself — home to microbes, insects, and worms that support ecological balance and long-term resilience.

Our supplier operates using 100% green power. At launch, our supply chain is located along Australia’s east coast, and we continue to work on reducing transport distances and fuel use wherever possible.
